Miss Kieanna
AVV Calisthenics Club

I first started calisthenics in the Sub-Junior section when I was 7 years old and fell in love with this sport from my very first lesson. I am currently a member of the AVV senior team and also coach team 1 in the Sub-Junior section. Throughout my years of calisthenics I have been very fortunate to represent SA in national teams and have also competed in Ballarat with club teams. I began competing in gracefuls and solos from the age of 9 and am still competing in them today.

My love for coaching began when I assisted a team when I was 13 years old. Since then, I have assisted a team every year until I was 18 and was able to do my level 1 coaching course. In 2019, I coached my first team at AVV and haven’t ever looked back. I am very grateful as I have also had the opportunity in 2019 to be an assistant to the SA Junior National Team and also the 2020 Sub-Junior National team. I love sharing my passion for AVV and calisthenics with the girls I coach and providing them with an environment where they feel safe and excited to learn. Calisthenics and AVV has given me so much in my life, including beautiful friendships, opportunities and role models and I love that I can give back to the club and the sport as a member and coach in the best way I can.

Outside of calisthenics I am a registered nurse, who works with paediatric and adult patients. I absolutely love my job and the support they have given with my commitment to calisthenics.

I love being a part of AVV, as this club does value each and every member and the support they give is truly amazing. AVV has become my chosen family and I love seeing this brilliant club succeed.
