AVV Calisthenics Club
I have participated and coached at the highest level of calisthenics & dance collectively for over 36 years. Throughout this time I have achieved great success as both a competitor and a coach.
As a participant, I was a member of Ridgehaven Calisthenics Club for 13 years & Marden Calisthenics College for 6 years. I competed in a total of 8 South Australian state teams; at least once in every age section. I won State and National Graceful Girl titles and have coached teams & individuals at CASA State Championship and National level.
Currently, I am the Senior Head Coach at AVV Calisthenics Club, a position I have held since the end of 2017. I have taken the team from 12 girls in Division 1 to over 25 girls in Championship Division, most recently gaining Runners Up at the competitions at Her Majesty’s Theatre in 2021. My seniority at the Club has led me to assist and mentor many young coaches and their teams.
As well as my extensive calisthenics experience, I have great knowledge and involvement in other dance fields. I toured Australia with the Dr Who Australian Symphony Orchestra and also David Campbell, dancing in his show. I am currently the Head Coach for the Adelaide 36er cheerleaders and Director of Bellarouge Dance Agency.
I have dedicated much of my life and time to our unique sport, also to the participants involved in it. My family and I were heavily involved at the most elite level for many years; I always have and continue to have the full support of my family as I pursue my love of calisthenics.
When I’m not at calisthenics I am busy at my full time stylist role with Camilla and spending time with my wonderful partner and two gorgeous daughters, one who is an active and passionate member of AVV Calisthenics Club.
